Free EP! Josh Preston - The Complex Wooden Heart



In anticipation of the release of Josh Preston's new album Exit Sounds on May 13th, Josh has recorded an EP entitled The Complex Wooden Heart containing acoustic versions of two tracks featured on Exit Sounds: "Safety Feels The Exit" and "Temptation". Josh has also included a re-recorded version of the song "We Are Alone" from his first release Between Memory and Mortality and an acoustic version of "Simpler" which was also featured on his first album. This new EP can be downloaded in part or in full using the links below and it can also be found on his myspace page. Also on Josh's myspace page, there's a widget that you can share with your friends and stream Exit Sounds before you can buy it! In the meantime, enjoy this EP!

Boy, it's funny. We just watched "High Fidelity" last night for the first time in years. Then we stumble on muxtape.com. It's so crazy easy to use. We built a MATM muxtape. It too is rad. Breaking News!! Lisa Reed Preston will be on WRFN this evening from 6pm-7pm CST. She will be a featured guest on Allen Goodson's program called "Women In Music". She'll be discussing all things related to Me and the Machine Records and she'll also be spinning tracks by all of your favorite Me and the Machine artists. If you're on the West side of the city (Nashville), tune your radio dial to 98.9 FM and check it out. Josh Preston's "Song for Kate" on Sirius Satellite Radio

Last night, Josh Preston's song entitled "Song for Kate" from his upcoming release Exit Sounds was played on the Charlie Monk Show on Channel 61, Prime Country. The show will replay Friday morning @ 12:01am EST (Thurs. 9pm PST). While Josh isn't generally considered a country artist, his track "Song for Kate" definitely has country leanings. Josh would also like to thank all of the folks that called in to the show!!

Ladies and gentleman! It is my privilege to announce that Josh Preston's newest album, Exit Sounds, has been scheduled for release on May 13! We're still standing

Hey y'all. Well we made it back alive from the hills of West Virginia. Brad Sweitzer & The Young Sophisticates rocked out at The Empty Glass after Josh Preston warmed up the house. The crowd was great and the drinks were great and Josh won $10 at the slots. Not a bad haul. ;)

Oh! And we set up a recording studio in the hotel and nearly finished up the new Brad Sweitzer & The Young Sophisticates record. Pretty exciting stuff if we do say so ourselves.
